Andrew Demo

Andrew Demo is a founding member and Partner at Chihambakwe & Partners. With a career spanning 17 years, he has established himself as a versatile legal practitioner with a profound understanding of the Zimbabwean judicial system, from tribunals to the Constitutional Court.

Andrew's practice is characterized by forensic advocacy and a high success rate in complex litigation. While he handles all general legal work, he maintains a specialized bias toward Constitutional Law, Labour Law, and Commercial Law.

Operational Leadership

Beyond his legal practice, Andrew plays a vital role in the firm’s infrastructure and administration. He currently oversees the management of the firm's operations and controls the premises from which the partnership operates.

Personal Interests

Known simply as "Demo" to his peers, Andrew is an enthusiast of endurance and discovery. He is an avid marathon runner who brings the same discipline of the long-distance track to his legal research. When away from the firm, he enjoys traveling and is a dedicated reader.

Andrew is married and the father of three children.
